This week, Perks is bringing you cutting-edge designer ties from Motto and Crest, for half off. Hailing from across the pond, these ties are manufactured in the English tradition, combining classic menswear fabrics (like tweed) with dashes of more unconventional ones (like leather). So it makes sense to head to Grant Park this weekend, where restaurants like Rathbun’s, Serpas, Market and Dogwood will be offering their menu’s finest along with wine and craft beer tastings. Score one for Team You.
So there’s this little benefit coming up called Jeffrey Fashion Cares (maybe you’ve heard of it). And, turns out, for the first time ever, the after-party is open to the general public (meaning others can actually join you this year). Head to Opera for DJs, fire dancers, aerialists and gratis cocktails all night. You prefer your bourbon tax-deductible anyway.

In regards to the latter, Perrine’s Wine Shop opens this Monday, offering over 350 New and Old World wines, customized wine tastings and handwritten food-pairing recommendations by the owner/sommelier herself.
