Dominick’s Launches Brunch

After years as a dinner-and-martini institution for agents, actors and producer-types, Dominick’s is doing something unprecedented: starting this weekend, the doors open at 9am for brunch. Expect Polenta Waffles, Blueberry Ricotta Pancakes and plenty of chatter about Salt’s opening numbers.

You don’t need a whole lot of help finding reasons to haul out your golf clubs. But if you spring for a $450 Shangri-La room, Ojai Valley Inn will make it worth your while with unlimited golf on the championship course, a 50-minute massage and breakfast on the house. That’s about $500 worth of incentive, so basically they’re paying you to golf.
