Every Wednesday, dogs rule this big backyard of a bar. There are special dog-friendly visitors to mingle with you (this week it’s an animal shelter), and a 20-foot TV with dog-themed movies—anything from Homeward Bound to Lady and the Tramp. No, they’re not playing Old Yeller.
You have been dazzled by the rooftop, but that’s still strictly no-dogs-allowed—so stake a spot on the front patio. Your dog will be lavished with bowls of water—and you’ll be lavished with shrimp po’boys and Harvey Wallbangers. Just keep the howls to a minimum.
