Founded by CEO Lance Broumand in 2005, UrbanDaddy Enterprises is headquartered in New York’s Flatiron District and employs more than a hundred staff across editorial, e-commerce, technology and operations. The company is privately held.  In 2011, Broumand was named a New York finalist in the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.

In 2009, UrbanDaddy Enterprises launched the mobile application The Next Move, which Apple featured in a national advertising campaign for iPhone. The app has since picked up more than a dozen awards and has been downloaded more than 3.5 million times across iPhone and Android devices. A concierge-in-your-pocket, The Next Move app uses location, time, day and weather information to deliver venue recommendations based on situational context.

UrbanDaddy Enterprises curates exclusive high-end experiences for members via UrbanDaddy Perks, working with luxury brands such as the Morgans Hotel Group, Nobu and Blue Hill to offer up e-commerce opportunities unrivaled by other platforms.
