Before the brick-and-mortar, the only way you could find the 4505 burger was by hunting down their stand at farmer's markets. And it was so, so worth it. Luckily for you, this restaurant makes things a lot easier. Plop down on one of the benches and go to town on their grassfed beef burger with gruyere on a sesame and scallion brioche bun. Oh, and don't forget the spicy fries with lemon parsley aioli and chimichurri.

The Marlowe Burger. It almost doesn't need an introduction. It's the reason you made your reservation for dinner at Marlowe a week ago and have been dreaming of it ever since. The caramelized onions, cheddar, horseradish aioli and bacon top a patty that's 80% beef, 20% lamb and 100% one of the best things you've ever tasted.

Popsons has perfected their burger by paying attention to all the details: their buns are made specially for them, and all the beef is butchered and ground in house daily. You and your friends will be able to taste the difference in their cheeseburger with onion, lettuce, pickle, special sauce and American cheese. Because organic and local sourcing is great, but sometimes you really can't beat American cheese.

Started as a passion project pop-up by a man who loved burgers, WesBurger 'N' More is your Mission destination for insanely creative, insanely good burgers. Grab the Hot Wes, a 6-ounce patty with onion rings, queso and pickled jalape̱os. Or maybe a PB&J Burger topped with peanut butter, onion rings, jalapeno strawberry jam and sharp cheddar. You can feel the love.

Food
This humble little diner in North Beach has been quietly serving up what in-the-know San Franciscans have long held to be one of the city's best burgers for over 50 years. Simple, classic cheeseburgers served on sesame seed buns are the perfect end to a night out in the neighborhood.
