A real deal gem amidst the North Beach tourist glut, Sotto is exactly where you want to go for kitsch-covered walls, a blaring oldies soundtrack, and some good old fashioned 'tude from the waitstaff. Oh, and oysters—order West Coast or East Coast bivalves by the dozen, douse them in lemon and horseradish and wash them all down with a cold beer. Smile. Repeat.
