Pelago Opens for Dinner

Lunch at a sexy Italian restaurant can lead to some interesting propositions…like, for instance, dinner. After six weeks of dazzling you in the afternoon, this new Streeterville gem now serves its venison ragu gnocchi and crab meat risotto for dinner. There's no telling where that will lead. We're guessing dessert.

Seating begins at 7pm, Pelago, 201 E. Delaware Pl (at Seneca), 312-280-0700

Complimentary Oysters at Goose Island

Shaw's annual oyster-eating street bacchanal, Royster With the Oyster, doesn't happen until next week, but you can start slurping early at Goose Island's preview party. Every time you order a beer, you'll get an order of oysters on the house. Because practice makes perfect.

5:30-7pm, Oct 15, Goose Island, 1800 N. Clybourn Ave, 312-915-0071
