The weekend is getting a tall one.
Dollar oysters—like happy hour—never get old. Neither do $3 pints (like Sierra Harvest Ale), $5 vino and specials including Bar Crudo's signature Seafood Chowder. They're also throwing in daily specials like this week's fish tacos—just to keep you on your toes.
Marzano on Park is great and all, but the just-opened Marzano on College had us at happy hour (we're sensing a trend). Every night from 10pm to midnight you'll get your pick of $10 pizzas, $5 beer/wine and $6 cocktails and bites—consider it a late-night snack, or dinner.
This weekly Sunday-night pop-up is finally making a full weekend out of it. Now you can mingle over bubbly in the courtyard with fellow diners, tour the working kitchen and indulge in up to a dozen, wine-paired courses on Friday, and Saturday nights too. If you weren't doing that already.
Normally, you find Raleigh Denim's handmade jeans at Barneys New York, but tonight you'll get to hang out with the husband-wife duo who made them—and more importantly there'll be a gratis spread of wine, pizza and focaccia on hand. (It is in North Beach after all.)
Check out two days worth of more than 200 vintage sports cars—Ferraris, Aston-Martins, MGs, Corvettes. And, for a mere $75 donation, you can get behind the wheel of a historic Can-Am sports racer for a three-lap buzz around the track. Now you can strike "become a race-car driver" off your to-do list.
Grab your best mustachioed buddies, and slap a fakey 'stache on the ones who can't grow one (like your long-limbed better half) for this hirsute jaunt over to Sausalito. Make sure to fill your "water" bottle with your drink of choice. Think of it as pre-Movember training.
