Travel season is upon us and we here at Perks think you deserve more...or actually, a lot less. So we're taking a round three-digit number off your flight. We're just good like that.

CRABBING

Now being served: soft-shell crabs fresh from the Chesapeake Bay. For now, they're served deep-fried with a peppery aioli-based sauce on a bed of watercress. Blasphemy, you say? Hardcore traditionalists who prefer their crabs the Old Bay way can BYO-OB.

Since nothing beats sinking a cold one after completing the Nicasio Loop, this bike-friendly beer garden—offering 30 brews—will be a great pit stop. No bike, no problem: load up on the fresh-grilled burgers and German sausages and hope that someone will peddle your satiated self home.

Pétanque at Michel-Schlumberger

Dust off your fake French accent for a few games of pétanque, played on three different playing surfaces (standard, indoor and bar-top). Not coincidentally, M-S just released its new Pétanque line of vino, which you can, of course, sample—presumably alongside Audrey Tautou look-alikes picking at their baguette sammies.

Short of hopping a last-minute plane to N'awlins, this is about as Big Easy as your weekend will get: endless crawfish, house-made sausage and ears of corn, not to mention beers by Louisiana favorites Abita Andygator—crack a couple open on the porch to enhance the mood.
