Oxfords shirts are a style staple.
They're equally appropriate for work, dinner dates, lazy weekends and impromptu jaunts outdoors.
As such, it behooves everyone to have a few in their wardrobe.
If your closet is conspicuously missing this option, or you need a refresh, you're in luck. Because Rowing Blazers just launched a made-to-order program featuring the world's most versatile shirt.
Head to the website to peruse all your options. You can choose from 20 different fabrics, all high-quality versions of old-school American classics, like solid and university-striped Oxford cloths and candy-stripe broadcloths, available in a variety of colors. Every shirt is handmade in the U.S. and costs $175.
Once you've chosen your preferred fabric, you will select your neck size, sleeve length and fit (trim, standard or full). Every shirt comes with matte pressed cotton buttons and a hidden label featuring Rowing Blazers’ rakish cartoon mascot "Henry."
There's only one collar option for now—an unlined S-roll button-down—though more options are coming soon, including cutaway and club. There will also be cuff, pocket and monogram options down the road.
Place your order, and the shirting wizards will get to work cutting and customizing everything to your specifications. Four to five weeks later, those shirts will arrive in the mail. Put one on and wear it anytime you want to look good without trying too hard.
It helps if you also wear pants.
