To Loosie's, for Bukowski-Inspired Day Drinking

Rare Wine and Brisket-and-Biscuits Under the Williamsburg Bridge

South Williamsburg hangout Loosie's Kitchen & Cafe is launching a daytime wine happy hour today. They've gone and named it "Bukowski Hour" after the poet/novelist/wine enthusiast, and it's where you might take a friend to sip rare wine for five bucks in a really-quite-beautiful, (hopefully) sun-soaked setting.

Stop by any time between 3pm and 7pm for snacks like brisket rillette with warm biscuit bites, Creole spiced nuts and a rotating selection of organic wine—this week, they're into Chenin Blanc from the Loire Valley.

Mon—Fri, 3pm—7pm, Loosie's Kitchen & Cafe, 91a S 6th St (between Bedford and Berry), 718-309-0231
