China's First Bulgari Hotel Has Its Own Fleet of Maseratis. Naturally.

A Renowned Italian Designer Leaves Its Mark on Beijing

Some say Beijing is best seen by bicycle.

You'll just have to trust they know what they're talking about.

From the back seat of the Maserati squiring you to your rooftop highball date.

Anything is possible now that Bulgari Hotel Beijing is open along the banks of Liangma River, with all the accompanying opulence one would expect from that famous label.

Maybe you're in town for business. Or to sightsee. Or to learn to play the guzheng. Whatever it is, prepare to do a lot of marveling, from the art-slathered lobby to the indoor pool to the riverside garden and private park you'll stroll when not being pampered, dazed by the skyline through floor-to-ceiling windows in the Bulgari Suite. It's one of the city's biggest.

And it shouldn't surprise you that a personal shopper is available to come straight to your room. Allowing you to buy someone or yourself all kinds of Italian leather and not-Italian diamonds.

So be careful what promises you're making at copper-plated Il Bar. You may want to keep it to promises of caviar and spaghetti from the Michelin starred chef running Il Ristorante. For now.

And you can always end the evening by taking advantage of the hotel's fleet of Maserati limousines. Your driver is happy to take you to your next drink in Sanlitun.

Or you guys could just keep driving.
