There’s something different about Hugo’s lately—the 32-foot mahogany bar. Those East and West Coast oyster varietals flown in fresh daily. Those fried-oyster sliders with seaweed slaw and yuzu aioli. Must be some type of new oyster bar. It’s a new oyster bar.
Turns out, the Dawson is opening their outdoor patio for the first time this season on the exact same day as their St. Patrick’s Day party, where you’ll enjoy traditional Celtic fare like shepherd’s pie, live music and Chartreuse-and-whiskey shots. Guess the whole “luck of the Irish” thing checks out.
We know it’s early. But from 7 to 10am through the weekend, the Waldorf is hosting a Parisian patisserie pop-up featuring sweet things like hazelnut French macarons and buttery kouign-amann cakes with homemade almond cream. You’ll sleep when you’re dead. Or full of macarons.
