18 Sherries at 15 Romolo

If it happens you didn’t yet meet your sherry quota for the year, Romolo will help you take care of that. They’ll be serving 18 sherries by the glass, sherry-marinated pork tenderloin and cocktails like the Suckerpunch, with bourbon, fernet, pumpkin and coffee tincture. And sherry.

Reservations at Mission Chinese

Friday night... it’ll be like any other at Mission Chinese Food. Except you can now make reservations online. If they can’t seat you right away, they’ll put your name at the front of the sign-in list. Could be why they punctuated “reservations” with a question mark. Close enough.

WHERE THERE’S SMOKE’S

A New Poutine Spot in Berkeley

There has probably been at least one Saturday night in your Saturday night canon that... could’ve benefited from some poutine before bedtime. Canada’s Smoke’s Poutinerie has set up its first stateside shop in Berkeley, with all sorts of poutine. Think: bacon cheeseburger. Peppercorn steak. Chipotle pulled pork. It just feels right.

An App That Snaps 3D Food Photos

3D food photos. That’s a thing you might see people do now. If you were a person who’d download 3DAround, you’d just hit record and revolve your iPhone’s camera around your food, then the app would stitch the photos together to make a 3D image. If.
