They say coffee is the most important sandwich of the day. Or you thought that’s what someone said, before you had your Mr. Espresso brew from Fearless—it’s the new café from the woman behind Il Cane Rosso. And yes, it’s got sandwiches. Spinach-and-mushroom-frittata sandwiches.
You know what’s fancy: crawfish boils. Go to AlaMar and you’ll see. It’s nice, but you order your seafood—maybe crawfish with sausage and Meyer-lemon-pepper sauce—by the pound. After all that, hit the copper sink right in the dining room. The time for dining room sinks is... sometimes.
Sometimes it’s nice to get things done early. Like a big project at work, or celebrating Cinco de Mayo on May 2. The Aventine party is back, with all the alley DJs, food trucks and tequila specials you always expect from a Friday—but only get on this Friday.
