Your Labor Day Whites Have Arrived

They say you shouldn’t wear white after Labor Day. Well, they were wrong. You should wear white whenever the hell you feel like it. But... definitely this weekend. Preferably while doing the things described below. Or just sitting there. Point is: white stuff.

FOR THE AFTERNOON CRAWFISH BOIL

What it is: An oxford blazer from Taylor Stitch with seersucker in all the right places (but... mostly the lining).
When you’ll wear it: At a breezy midday soiree somewhere. We’ll also accept “anytime ever.”

FOR THE ROOFTOP SOIREE

These Suede Wingtips with Sneaker Soles

What they are: White suede wingtips with soft, comfortable soles perfect for standing around places that don’t serve red wine.
When you’ll wear them: We’re picturing a rooftop somewhere. A champagne brunch, perhaps. Probably not a dog park.

FOR THE LAWN GAME OLYMPICS

What they are: All-white leg sheathes with a touch of gray stitching.
When you’ll wear them: Heated bocce matches. Lawn darts rec league practices. Croquet tournaments that take place anywhere other than nudist colonies.

FOR EATING MEAT OFF OF A GRILL

What it is: A thin, minimalist Milano timepiece with interchangeable straps. In this case, white pebble leather.
When you’ll wear it: Poolside at a Labor Day barbecue. Just make sure you’re not the one grilling or you’ll ruin this thing. Unless you wear it as an anklet, but then you’ll risk looking like someone who wears watch-anklets.
