This week’s exhibit in the fall of Western civilization: the new Shake Shack next to the Spy Museum is blending donuts into frozen custard. An Astro coconut donut, to be specific, with strawberry jam and rainbow sprinkles. Because if it didn’t have sprinkles, you’d ask for them.
This holiday, you need a rooftop and you need beer. 1905 has both. Your admission gets you a protein (wings, smoked ribs) from the grill, plus two sides (cornbread, bacon kraut). The guys from 3 Stars Brewing will be on hand to supply the beer. Feel free to salute.
