A Weekend of ’90s-ing at 15 Romolo

You’ve got birthday plans this weekend. They involve Manhattans, DJs and a celebration of all things 1998. Ah, right. It’s all starting to make sense now. That’s the year 15 Romolo was born. So it must be their birthday party. Yep. It is. It’s their birthday party.

Jun 21-23, 15 Romolo, 15 Romolo Pl (at Broadway), 415-398-1359

Here’s a Late-Night Poolside Menu
POOL INTENTIONS

Here’s a Late-Night Poolside Menu

The poolside bar at the Phoenix is keeping the kitchen open until 1am now. Which means you can eat smoked grit fries and pork belly with kimchi until 1am now. Next to a pool. That you don’t have to wait 30 minutes to jump into afterward.

Saturday
Baked Goods. So Many Baked Goods.
BAKE IT OR LEAVE IT

Baked Goods. So Many Baked Goods.

A former Aqua and Kokkari pastry chef just opened a new café and bakery in the Avenues. It’s called Heartbaker. Which is just a clever way of saying “pumpkin bread pudding with whiskey caramel, crème brûlée and baked mac and cheese.” They probably should’ve just named it that.

Now open, Heartbaker, 1408 Clement St (at 15th), 415-283-6787

Bocce. Bubbly. Brunch. That’s Your Cue.
STOCK AND AWE

Bocce. Bubbly. Brunch. That’s Your Cue.

If there’s one thing you love about brunch, it’s the fact that... it exists. And where better to celebrate that fact than at Stock in Trade’s new one. Bottomless champagne and bocce are involved. So is french toast, but you know.

Sunday
Happy Birthday to You. And... These Guys.
NET BIRTH

Happy Birthday to You. And... These Guys.

Well, well, well. If it isn’t another birthday party. Fine. Whatever. It’s not like Bluestem Brasserie is celebrating by only making you pay $2 for things like steak tartare with black truffle egg yolk and toasted pig’s head ravioli. But if they were, we’d probably be really sarcastic about it.
