MILKING

Momofuku's Donut-Flavored Soft Serve

Momofuku pork bun and noodle maestro David Chang is trading his Lucky Charms for a few Krispy Kremes. The cereal-flavored soft-serve ice cream flavors at Milk Bar are being replaced by more donut-friendly tastes like chocolate, old-fashioned and Bavarian cream. As for churros… only time will tell.

Now serving, 207 2nd Ave (at 13th St)

BORN TO BE WILD

Smith & Butler Pop-Up at Moscot

Our sources tell us the intellectual biker look is back in, which explains all those Harleys outside the Strand. Luckily, Brooklyn bike shop Smith & Butler is coming to Moscot's Orchard Street shop just in time, with waxed cotton jackets from Belstaff, workshirts from Filson and everything you need for that Vespa gang you've been planning.

The old-school butchers at Jeffrey's Meat Market have a sweet deal in store for anyone with proof of unemployment or foreclosure. The first 230 people to stop by get tickets to a gratis recession dinner featuring a half-pound steak, cupcakes and a bit of well-deserved relief. If only all the bailouts involved strip steak…

SHUCKING

Happy Hour Oysters at Five Points

The Noho neighborhood spot is earning high marks in recession math class with $5 martinis and $2 oysters at happy hour. That means 22 bucks for a half-dozen oysters and two martinis… assuming that isn't what you had for lunch.

Every day, 5-7pm, 31 Great Jones St (at Lafayette), 212-253-5700

Tuesday
One Less Place to Find Swedish Women
SEND-OFF

One Less Place to Find Swedish Women

Good World, the beloved LES Swede enclave and all-around great bar, is closing to make way for a few soon-to-be beloved condos. But you don't have to drown your sorrows alone: the bar is throwing a last-night bash-to-end-all-bashes on Tuesday, with the kind of revelry only Scandinavians can muster.
