Thirteen vintners, 100 chefs, an ape house and elephant trails. Sounds like a Marx Brothers movie. Or a spring Thursday. This annual fund-raiser has you strolling the zoo grounds and pausing to feast on dozens of chefs’ tables. Please don’t taunt the lions with your rack of lamb.
The worst thing about the most exciting two minutes in sports: it’s only two minutes. Hence the need to pad your afternoon with Kobe burgers, lobster Caesar salads, mint juleps and another cocktail called the Horse’s Neck (brandy and ginger beer). Besides, your appetite for women in hats is unending.
